TfL Fares Frozen Until March 2025
Travel savings continue for Londoners
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan today announced that Transport for London (TfL) fares will be frozen until March 2025. The move will save Londoners an average of £200 a year on their travel costs.
The fare freeze is part of a wider package of measures to support Londoners with the cost of living crisis. The Mayor has also announced that the Hopper fare will be extended to all buses, and that the £1 daily cap on the Santander Cycle hire scheme will be frozen for a further two years.
The Mayor said: "I know that people are struggling with the cost of living crisis, which is why I'm freezing TfL fares until March 2025. This will save Londoners an average of £200 a year on their travel costs and help them to keep more money in their pockets."
The fare freeze will apply to all TfL services, including the Tube, bus, tram, DLR, London Overground and Elizabeth line. It will also apply to the Hopper fare, which allows customers to make unlimited journeys on buses and trams within an hour for a single fare.
The TfL fare freeze is a welcome relief for Londoners who are struggling with the cost of living crisis. It will save them money on their travel costs and help them to keep more money in their pockets.
