A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 caused major delays for commuters during the early morning rush hour on Tuesday.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. near the 215 Freeway interchange in Colton, California.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), three vehicles were involved in the collision. One person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The crash blocked multiple lanes of traffic, causing backups that stretched for several miles in both directions.
Delays were particularly severe for commuters traveling eastbound on I-10, with some drivers reporting delays of over an hour.
The CHP advised drivers to seek alternate routes if possible. The agency also urged drivers to slow down and use caution in the area.
The crash is still under investigation. The CHP has not released any information on the cause of the collision.
