Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is the current frontrunner, averaging 26.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game. He is followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, who is averaging 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers is also in the running, averaging 33.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.

The MVP award will be announced at 7 pm on June 26th. It is sure to be a close race, and any of the three finalists could win.
